Become Familiar to Yourself

Dear Gatherers,

This week my mother turned 92 years old. Although I haven't been able to see her since January, she is always with me. As we continue to navigate through these uncertain times, I have found that focused on my core values is really helpful. There are so many things out of our control right now that it feels like we are swimming against the tide. My mom has lived her life, through the Great Depression, WWll and a number of personal tragedies, focused on what she believes is most important. Her core values are optimism, introspection and patience. I share many of her values and have many of my own, but it has been watching her live according to her values, no matter what, that has taught me so much. So right now, take a look for yourself at what your top three values are and each day, ask yourself what action you took that reflects each value. It is a way to help us stay grounded with our truest selves, particularly when things feel so unfamiliar. Become familiar to yourself by continuing to follow the core values that have made you who you are. For me, I most value growth, authenticity and love. The Gathering is a reflection of those values and I am honored to provide classes for individuals, groups and companies that are rooted in those values.

In the words of Mahatma Ghandi:

Your beliefs become your thoughts. Your thoughts become your words. Your words become our habits. Your habits become your values. Your values become your destiny.

Values can change. Take some time to reflect on the values that you want to live by. If you want to embrace a new value, do so. Whatever your core values are believe in them. speak them, act of them and live them.

We would love to see you on Wednesday at 5 PST/ 8 EST

and on Sundays at 4 PST/ 7 EST

Please let us know if you'd like us to bring the same calm, clarity and connection to your organization or company!
